> Secrets & Easter Eggs

Welcome to the Game 3, like its predecessors, is filled with hidden content for observant players. From secret deep web URLs to environmental interactions, the game rewards thorough exploration. This page catalogs known secrets discovered since the July 16, 2026 release.
Hidden Deep Web Sites
Some sites in the deep web are not directly accessible through normal browsing. Hidden sites require specific conditions:
> URL Variations
Try modifying known URLs by changing numbers, adding common path extensions (/admin, /login, /backup, ~), or replacing .com with .net/.org. Several hidden pages use numbered suffixes.
> Clue-Triggered Sites
Some hidden pages only appear after collecting specific information from other sites. The Deep Web Investigation section of our walkthrough tracks which clues unlock which hidden pages.
> Time-Exclusive Pages
Beyond the standard timed sites, some pages only appear at very specific minute-second combinations. The :45–:59 window contains two of the rarest pages (Dimiter and The End).
> Dead Site Resurrection
Some permanently dead websites (like Pastebin and Public Key) may briefly become accessible under specific conditions. The trigger is still being investigated by the community.
Easter Eggs
The Welcome to the Game series has a tradition of hiding easter eggs throughout the game. Here is what has been found so far:
> Developer References
Hidden messages from Reflect Studios can be found in page source code across several deep web sites. Look for HTML comments on Blushing Brides, Cavity Lease, and Red Triangle. One confirmed message references the studio's previous game titles.
> Room Object Interactions
Certain objects in the motel room have secondary interactions when examined multiple times or in specific sequences. The light switch, radio, and a specific drawer in the desk are confirmed to have hidden responses.
> Previous Game Callbacks
References to events and characters from Welcome to the Game (2016) and Welcome to the Game II appear on several deep web pages. The "Thanks For Visiting!" page contains a direct reference to the original game's ending screen.
> Pop Culture References
Several site names reference internet culture and horror media. "The Loogaroo" references a mythological figure, while "TRACK06" and specific audio cues pay homage to classic ARG (Alternate Reality Game) design.
Secret Interactions
Beyond the standard investigation loop, Welcome to the Game 3 hides interactions that are not immediately obvious:
- Environmental Interactions: Objects in your room may have secondary uses beyond their obvious function. The bathtub is not just for hiding — interacting with it while Tucker's music is playing triggers a unique response.
- Timing-Based Events: Some events only trigger at specific times during your investigation. Browsing the same page at different points in the night may yield different results. Try revisiting early sites after major discoveries.
- Sequence-Based Discoveries: Visiting sites in a specific order can unlock content not accessible through individual exploration. The community is still mapping optimal sequence paths.
- Motion Sensor Secrets: The reported bugged dumpster placement for motion sensors may actually be a deliberate secret interaction. Experiment with non-standard sensor placements.
Series References
Welcome to the Game 3 contains numerous nods to the earlier games. Players who completed the previous entries will notice:
- Returning URL patterns — Site naming conventions from Welcome to the Game II carry over, with similar thematic categories (marketplaces, trap sites, lore pages).
- Lore continuity — References to events or characters from the series' mythology appear on lore-heavy sites like "The Light Within" and "Symphoros Chosen."
- Mechanical callbacks — Puzzle types from previous entries return with Welcome to the Game 3's refinements. Players of earlier games will recognize the hacking minigame structure.
- Visual motifs — The distinctive red-and-black terminal aesthetic from Welcome to the Game II is carried forward, with new green terminal accents unique to this entry.
